ChinaSourceCheck helps overseas buyers assess Chinese companies before entering a business relationship or making payment. This notice describes the categories of information the service may process.
Information we may process
- Account information: email address and account identifiers needed to provide account access.
- Supplier searches: company names or registration identifiers submitted to request information.
- Orders and reports: service selections, payment status, research evidence, review decisions and report delivery records.
- Optional analytics: page paths, session timing, visible-page duration, device category, language, campaign source and company-search activity, only when you accept optional analytics.
Analytics choices
Optional analytics is not required to browse public pages or use essential account functions. You can decline or withdraw consent. When you decline, optional session and page-view events stop; a consent record may be retained to honor your choice.

How we use information
We use information to provide requested searches and reports, maintain account and payment records, prevent abuse and protect service integrity. If you opt in, we also use analytics to understand useful pages and search journeys. A failed search is not proof that a company does not exist or is risky.
Data minimization and security
Do not submit passwords, payment-card credentials, authentication tokens or information unrelated to the requested verification. Analytics records are intended for authorized operational use, not public display. Access should be role-restricted and data retained only as necessary.
International processing and rights
Depending on your location and configured services, data may be processed in different countries. Applicable rights, legal bases, retention periods, contact details and provider disclosures must be finalized before public launch. This notice is an implementation draft and should be reviewed for the markets served.
